Rereading Harry Potter it so that he can read the latest one. What else has he read lately? Not much—just the Harry Potter.

Favorite book of all time? 1984.

Why? It’s the thoughts and how Ray Bradbury crafts the story. He has a character who slowly breaks out of the ideology. He likes his set up. That’s why he likes 1984, too—it has the same set-up. Another book in the favorites running--Dandelion Wine.

If he were to write his own book, it’d be a detective novel. He grew up on Sherlock Holmes. He’s always liked his brilliant deductions, how all the details click into one solution. A scene that sticks in his mind? The bank robbery, he doesn’t remember which book, but Sherlock is actually able to feel how hollow the street becomes beneath his feet and is able to deduce with the bank will be broken into.

He has vague ideas about a second book.
