Reading About a Boy, by Nick Hornby. She picked it up because she’d read A Long Way Down, a book about four people who find themselves together on a rooftop on New Year's Eve because they are all planning on committing suicide.

Her favorite book of all time--The Butcher Boy, by Patrick McCabe. It’s a storm, she said, inside a not so balanced mind--it’s different. There is little punctuation in an effort to be realistic to getting inside a boy's mind. It's hard to read, but the character is very relatable--it's about growing up in Northern Ireland in a home with an alcoholic abusive father... life is hard.

Her own book—it’d probably have something to do with people she’s met, and theater. She just moved here from Albuquerque to teach High School and is enjoying having time to read for pleasure before the school year begins.
