Between White River Junction and NYC -- August 30, 2007

Reading, the local Vermont mystery novelist that I was told about at the bookstore! She likes his books because he writes about places she knows. She lives in Rutland. This book is set in Stowe. This is the second one that she’s picked up.

Her favorite book, from way back when she was a child--The Secret Garden, by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Her grandmother used to read it to her and she’s read it way too many times, she said.

Recently she’s been reading books by James Patterson.

Her own book would be about traveling cross-country and finding yourself. She has been to California, driven with her family from Vermont to Minesota, driven to Florida, and also to Maine.

A book that has helped her become closer to people--Tuesday’s with Morrie, by Mitch Albom, which she and her friends in high school read. It’s an awesome story.

(Minesota is spelled wrong above so that it doesn't get picked up with the Minesota search in the blog sidebar...sometimes my spelling is terrible, but this is actually intentional!)
