Reading Western Muslims and the Future of Islam, by Tariq Ramadan. The book is about Muslims in Europe and in North America and how, after September 11, Muslims control themselves and match with the society.

His favorite authors (his first language is French, he grew up in Chad and in Alexandria, Egypt)—Descartes, Kant, Sartre.

His own book would be about his life and the need to struggle, but in the meantime life is something wonderful. People die every day and life is a chance.

The 21c, he said, is the century of wars between religions, wars of the three monotheistic religions: Islam, Judaism, and Christianity …he read about this about two years ago when he was in Africa.
