Reading The Tunnels, by Michelle Gagnon.

Her friend who supports a charitable children’s hospital gets sent paperbacks and she sends some of them on to her. This is one of them.

She mostly reads nonfiction. She likes reading Cosmo, Good Houskeeping, learning about beauty. She reads health books about diet by, among other authors, Suzanne Somers, who wrote Eat Great, Lose Weight and Eat, Cheat, and Melt the Fat Away. But, for traveling she likes the paperbacks her friend sends.

When she was growing up she liked the Mills and Boon romance novels. Her sister started reading them first.

Her own book would be non-fiction about eating the proper combinations of foods so your body metabolizes them right. She’s originally from the Caribbean and what’s nice about living in the U.S. is the variety of foods at your disposal.
