Portland, ME -- August 29, 2007

Reading The Birth of Tragedy, by Friedrich Nietzsche, at the North Star Café.

Recently he read Joseph Campbell’s The Power of Myth and Thomas Moore's Care of the Soul and an essay by Oscar Wilde that he wrote in prison--De Profundis.

If he were to write a book? He actually grew up wanting to write novels, and wrote some Science Fiction short stories, but then he got interested in music.

He is now a choral director and sings and arranges music. At a cathedral down the road they used to do Gregorian chants every Tuesday.
