Portland, ME -- August 29, 2007

In the meditation garden of the Unitarian church, reading the latest Harry Potter.

Her favorite book of all time--To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee.

Recently she’s read The Kite Runner, Janet Evanovitch books (Evanovitch is from nearby, in Hanover, New Hampshire).

What’s wonderful about Portland—it’s a quiet place, not large but with the benefits of a big city.

A book that’s helped her through life--The Lovely Bones, by Alice Sebold, which has helped her in understanding death a little better.

Her own book—no idea.
