Dallas, TX -- September 3, 2007, Labor Day

Reading That Dear Perfection, by Alison York. She reads this kind of book on her lunch break so she can start and stop and not get lost.

Her favorite book--Rabbit, Run, by John Updike, which she read in college prep. It’s futuristic and has come true—computers, cybernetics….40 years after it was written.

Recently she’s read Anne Rice.

Her book? It’d be fiction, set in Paris, the last place she traveled. She studied art when she was there.

She lives on a ranch about 60 miles out of town and has about 300 animals--horses, dogs, chickens, cats, etc. It’s peaceful, she said.
