Hartford, CT -- August 27, 2007
Reading Joshua 19 right now, starting from the front of the Bible. It’s about the eighth time he’s read it through in three-and-a-half years. Straight through, he says, is the only way to read it, from cover to cover. If you start at a favorite verse, you miss parts. The Bible is just like a regular book. If you skip around you miss the plot.
What does he like about living in Hartford? Nothing. He grew up in the southern part of Connecticut, where it’s more rural, and likes it there better.
