Reading Dead Watch, by John Sanford. He got it from a buddy of his. They swap books back and forth. Something good he’s read recently--The Dead Zone, by Stephen King. What makes it so good? It’s a murder mystery.
His favorite book of all time? Anything by Louis L’Amour. What makes him such a good writer? His books about the Sackett family.
If he were to write his own book it’d be non-fiction, about the American civil war era.
He moved to Des Moines from Missouri, to take a job with the Veterans Administration. What does he like about Des Moines? It’s actually not too much different from Missouri. People, he said, are people.
