Reading The Cement Garden, by Ian McEwan. Recently she read How are We Hungry, by David Eggers and Barrel Fever, by Sedaris.

Her favorite book of all time--Walden Pond, by Henry David Thoreau. She read it the first time when she was sixteen and has read it three times since then. It makes her appreciate how simple he makes things, it’s the musings of a genius.

What would her own book be about? It’d be a book of short stories. She’s majoring in creative writing. A short story writer she admires—David Sedaris.
