Bowling Green, KY -- August 14, 2007

Reading Legacy of the Drow, by R.A. Salvatore, which her husband recommended to her. This one is darker than LOR. Her husband plays Dungeons and Dragons and likes these books. He also reads Forgotten Realms and Fantasy.

She reads all sorts of books, from Anne Rice to Dan Brown to Edgar Allen Poe, Sherlock Holmes, The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas, Beowolf . A book she really enjoyed--The Witching House, by Anne Rice, which she read three times. She loved that it was so detailed. It made her feel like the family history is real life.

When she was little she wanted to be an author and had started working on a book in middle school, which grew from a English class project to write a short story. It was about fairies and a curse on a house. Ironically, it was a love story—she can't stand reading love stories--though, if she were to write a book, she would finish this one.

She lives outside of Bowling Green in Richardsville, and likes how small and quiet it is.
