Reading Balance of Power, by Richard North Patterson. He likes this type of lawyer book.

Has been living her for seven years and, about a year-and-a-half ago, he ran into his folks randomly. They're from up North. He hadn’t seen them in years.

His favorite book—Cujo, by Stephen king. He likes how the dog went nuts. The husband, he said, did nothing. Shows how strong women are.

He reads everything but romance.

If people see him without a book, they’ll figure he’s either sick or unconscious. He’s addicted to literacy.

His own book—it'd be about his travels. He settled here by accident. He was going to Miami and the transmission of his truck blew out and he wound up staying. If he hadn't, he'd never have reconnected with his parents. He likes being there for them as they're getting old and needing help.
