Niagara Falls, NY -- August 12, 2007

No one at Niagara Falls was reading, but…

here's the book that's been the star of my trip--USA & Canada on a Shoestring, by Robert Reid, Rebecca Blond, Loretta Chilcoat, Jeremy Chipman, Tom Downs, Michael Grosberg, Jeff Hill, Graham Neale, Andrew Dan Nystrom, Michael Read, and Emily K Woman. It’s a little out-of-date (April 2005), but it’s been coming through for me when I arrive places in the middle of the night or have no clue. They list the chamber of commerce and I can look them up and ask for directions, or ask the ultimate question: where do people read in your town?

After riding from 3:40am until 2:00am--nearly 24 hours!-- I practically leapt of over the falls in a need to get out of sitting posture. I badly needed a little stretching out. I'd bought a printout of the Bikram yoga postures but had done no more than take it out of the folder up until this point. If you practice yoga, don’t laugh at my posture….I’ve been on the bus for 4 weeks.

So sorry we missed each other. Bummer too... would have loved to have interviewed you for jennimi.

Hi there! I am a librarian friend of Special K. I have enjoyed looking at your blog and think it is a great idea.

I was looking forward to read about the meeting between Dogeared and Jennimi :-(

It would have been quite intriguing to see two blog posts inspired by the same encounter.
